CYCOLONIA 2012

in der nachbetrachtung habe ich etwas gemischte gefühle:
es gab tolle stände (tailormade, a-pace, van dyck kaffee), tolle menschen (bike syndikat, veloküche, dock 11...) und tollen sport (bikepolo, trial, kunstradfahren,...).
leider war die location so was von uncharmant. hoffentlich findet die vierte ausgabe dieser wunderbaren messe eine etage tiefer im schönen teil des expo 21 gebäudes statt. ich freue mich schon drauf.

NÄCHSTES WOCHENENDE: CYCOLONIA 2012

am 10. und 11. märz steigt die neue auflage der neuen kölner fahrradmesse CYCOLONIA, zum ersten mal nicht im sport- und olympiamuseum sonder im EXPO 21 am krefelder wall.
neben einer menge austeller gibt es ein international besetztes poloturnier, kunstradfahren, reiseradforum usw.

OPEN TRACK 2011

auch in diesem jahr richtet der RC ADLER einen schnuppertag auf der kölner radrennbahn aus. von 11-13 uhr ist zeit für eine einführung und erste runden unter anleitung, von 13-15 heisst es dann: freies training.
eine wirklich gute gelegenheit das fahren mit starrem gang in seiner "natürlichen umgebung" zu probieren.

CYCOLONIA 2011 -BIKEPOLO

hier ein paar eindrücke des bikepolo turniers auf dem dach des sport- und olympia museums.
die bilder sind von der vorrunde am samstag, bilder vom final-tag und der ausstellung folgen in kürze.

ZWEITE RUNDE

cycolonia, die kleine aber feine zuschauermesse rund ums fahrrad geht ins zweite jahr. letztes mal war es sehr nett, viele lokale aussteller, interessante vorträge von extrem-reise-radlern, bmx-contest vom peoples store, testparcours und oben auf dem dach bike-polo und bier mit den feinen herren vom bike-syndikat. das wetter wird gut, die tickets sind mit sechs euro günstig, herz was willst du mehr?

BAGABOO ROLLTOP

tamas von bagaboo arbeitet derzeit, wie so viele andere kuriertschen hersteller, an einem rolltop rucksack.

ALLEYCAT SERIE IN KOELN

morgen findet das erste einer monatlichen alleycat serie in koeln statt.
jeden letzten samstag eines jeden monats wird von den unterschiedlichsten
leuten ein rennen gestaltet, startgeld jeweils 5,-€ . pro rennen gibt's punkte und am jahresende preise.

29.01.2011 treffpunkt 19:00 uhr im bikesyndikat, einfach in den hinterhof rein.
denkt an licht, schloss, tasche, stift.

KOELNER FAHRRADKURIERMESITERSCHAFT 2010

last weekend was the 2010 version of the cologne courier championships.
last year's winner Anja organised the race and it was so much fun! the race started at Bike Syndikat after a nice breakfast and the first beers and cidres. first checkpoint was Edu's Veloküche in Ehrenfeld, from there on racers hadt to go to 16 checkpoints throughout the city, you can find the route I took below.
congratulations to kai and düse who finished 1st and 2nd, I came in 3rd.
kai just returned from the CMWC in Guatemala. he cycled all the way from new york to guatemala with his bike with a double fixed flip flop hub. thats over 3000km! respect!

the idea behind this backyard sale is, that everyone can bring stuff to sell as long as it is bike related. so bring your old parts, frames, clothes and whatever you have flying around. jan from bike syndikat will organise the event, their will be some beer tables to place your stuff. if you plan to come over and have a lot of stuff, please contact jan and register beforehand. thanks!

KÖLNER FAHRRAD STERNFAHRT 2010

the 3rd annual sternfahrt in Cologne will take place September 19th to support cyclist's rights and infrastructure.
you'll have 9 rutes to choose from. come out to Bickendorf (or Weiden, check this blog for updates) and ride with us into city centre.
